Addison Oaks east of Lake Orion/Oxford area and Groveland Oaks near Holly. Independence Oaks offers a youth only campground near Clarkston.

Both Addison Oaks and Groveland Oaks campgrounds have cabins available to rent. There is one 2-person cabin at each park (fitted with one queen-sized bed), 4-person cabins (fitted with two sets of bunk beds) and 6-person cabins and yurts (fitted with a queen-sized bed, and two sets of bunk beds) at both Addison Oaks and Groveland Oaks. Cabins/Yurts with accessible features are available. Cabins/Yurts contain table and chairs, mini-refrigerator and microwave as well as a picnic table and fire circle outside. Cabins and yurts may be reserved in advance.

There are two designated parking spots at each campsite for vehicles.

Addison Oaks is a 1,140-acre park with a "North woods" atmosphere, featuring two lakes, bicycle rentals, boat rentals, playgrounds, disc golf course, paved trails and more. View the 2026 Addison Oaks Camper Guide.

Addison Oaks and Groveland Oaks campgrounds accept reservations for campsites, cabins and yurts 180 days (approximately six months) in advance. Call 248-858-1400 for reservations or make a reservation online.

Cancellation/modification policy for campsites, cabins and yurts

Cancellations and modifications to campground reservations can be made in person or over the phone; they currently cannot be done online.

There is a $10 reservation modification/cancellation fee that applies to cancellation of an existing reservation, the modification of existing reservation dates, or the change of sites, cabins and yurts under an existing reservation.

If notice of a cancellation is received seven or more days prior to the beginning of the reservation, all charges will be refunded, minus the cancellation fee. If notice of cancellation is received less than seven days prior to the beginning of the reservation, one-half of the rental/camping fees will be refunded, minus the cancellation fee. There will be no refunds or modifications after 3 p.m. on the day the reservation starts.

Cancellation policy for group reservations

Cancellations to campground reservations can be made in person or over the phone; they currently cannot be done online.

There is a $10 reservation modification/cancellation fee that applies to all group reservations in addition to the refunds listed below.

If notice of a cancellation is received 90 or more days prior to the beginning of the reservation, all camping fees will be refunded, minus the cancellation fee. If notice of cancellation is received less than 90 days prior to the beginning of the reservation, the reserving person/entity forfeits the down payment. If notice of cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the reservation, the reserving person/entity forfeits the down payment and 50 percent of the additional fees collected.

3 p.m. for all individual campsites, cabins and yurts.

We can accommodate any size unit.

Each standard campsite offers cement or gravel pad with water and electric (20, 30 and 50 amp outlets on each site). Each site has a picnic table, fire pit and two-car parking area. There is a sanitary dump station at each park. The sanitary dump station at Groveland Oaks is for Groveland Oaks campers only.

Yes! Dogs are allowed at individual campsites, but not at the cabins or yurts. They must be kept on a six-foot leash and not left unattended. Dogs are not allowed in public waterways or buildings.

Monthly rate discounts apply to a full month of consecutive camping on the same site. Monthly fee must be paid at time of initial reservation/registration.
