Walk in arraignments are conducted at 10:30am and 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

If the ticket is not listed as a payable offense, the court will mail a notice to appear within 14 days. If your mailing address is incorrect on the ticket, contact the court with the correct address. If you do not receive a notice after 14 days, contact the court.

If the ticket is a payable offense, contact the court for the amount due and due date. Pending payable misdemeanor tickets are not eligible for online payment. 

Arraignments are conducted at 10:30am and 2:30pm at the courthouse.

Adjournments for criminal cases can only be granted by the Prosecutor. You must contact the prosecutor listed on your notice with a request for an adjournment.

If you have a misdemeanor offense the judge will issue a warrant for your arrest. The amount of bond will be determined by the judge. To have this warrant lifted you will have to come into the court to be arraigned. You should be prepared to post a cash bond or you may be taken into custody.

The arresting agency is responsible for bringing defendants to the court to be arraigned. The court has no prior knowledge of when a defendant will be transported for arraignment. If you would like to be present for the arraignment, you are free to wait in the lobby until the defendant is brought to the court. Many in-custody arraignments are held via remote video technology from the jail or police agency.  You may call the court after 9:00am to inquire if a video arraignment is scheduled for that day. If you have further questions, please contact the arresting police department.

Contact the police department listed on the order. Some departments require an appointment to conduct fingerprinting. If no appointment is required, present yourself to the police department within the specified timeframe and return the completed order to the court by the due date.

You will be required to appear for a Show Cause Hearing on a date prior to your sentencing, where you must explain to the Judge why you missed the appointment. The Judge will decide the appropriate course of action and a $50 rescheduling fee may be added to your file.

Pursuant to Michigan Court Rule 1.110, all payments of fines, costs, restitution and cost recovery are due at time of sentencing. Fines and costs can be paid by cash, check, money order or credit card.  All credit card payments are assessed a processing fee.
