Spiritual Well-Being
Quiet Rooms are available in Oakland County buildings to provide employees with calm, private spaces to pause and recharge during the workday. These serene areas can be used for nursing mothers to express milk, as well as for meditation, prayer, managing headaches, taking medication, or simply stepping away to gather thoughts. Designed to support stress reduction and mindfulness, Quiet Rooms help improve focus, well-being, and work-life balance by offering a distraction-free environment for short restorative breaks. Access is available to employees with building entry in these locations.
Intellectual Well-Being
Our monthly Lunch ’n’ Learns offers employees practical insights and tips across all eight dimensions of well-being. Most sessions are held virtually for easy access, while select topics are offered in person to provide hands-on learning and real-time engagement. Each month brings a new focus, giving employees regular opportunities to learn, grow, and support their overall well-being during the lunch hour.
The OakFit Well-Read Minds Book Club brings employees together every other month for a virtual conversation around a book selected by our Book Selection Guest, an employee who chooses the featured read. Employees can simply sign up if the book interests them, then join a relaxed virtual discussion with the guest and fellow readers. It’s an easy, inclusive way to connect, learn, and unwind through the power of a good book.
