The Oakland County Board of Commissioners understands the important role protecting our environment and natural resources plays in supporting the local economy, the health of our residents and the quality of life in our communities. The Board has taken the lead on a number of initiatives designed to protect the environment and preserve the natural resources we are lucky enough to enjoy in Oakland County, including our many beautiful lakes.
