Commissioner Johnson was born and raised in the Rochester area. During the week, you might find him at a spin class, and on weekends, he is probably playing piano somewhere in the Archdiocese of Detroit, where he has been a music minister since 2007. He loves the arts, is an avid AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), is very likely to give you a fun fact, and loves hiking through our nation’s national parks with his boyfriend, Chris.
