In Spring 2024, Oakland County partnered with Southeast Michigan Council of Governments and Commuter Connect to create a home base for ridesharing, carpooling, and any other form of transportation besides driving alone. Commuter Connect offers Oakland County employees the opportunity to log rideshare/carpool trips for points, which ultimately add up to earn prizes like gift cards and even trips.
