Construction Update

The Red Oaks Park portion of Red Oaks County Park is closed for a full park renovation that will include:

• A newly configured parking lot with improved stormwater retention
• New playground, tot garden and hammocks
• Sledding hill improvements
• Restroom building with attached shade structure and porch swings

e-Bikes

Please note that ONLY Class 1 e-Bikes with pedal assist only with no throttle are allowed on our trails. High-speed e-Bikes that can travel at 20 mph or faster, along with Sur-rons, are not permitted. If you have any questions, please contact the park directly. We appreciate your help keeping our trails safe and fun for all pedestrians and riders.

Red Oaks’ 163-acres are a unique example of repurposing urban land for recreational use – the park is located atop the enclosed George W. Kuhn Drain. Red Oaks is a busy place, with four unique recreation facilities: Dog Park; Golf Course and warm-up hitting nets; Nature Center and trails; and Red Oaks Waterpark. There are also warm-up hitting nets available.
