Buhl Estate

With its distinctive English Tudor-style manor home dramatically nestled among sweeping willow trees and surrounded by a formal flower garden, the Buhl Estate is an elegant setting for a picture-perfect wedding or other special occasion.

The historical home features spaces for gatherings of all sizes and budgets. The garden room with a stone fireplace is ideal for small, intimate parties while a banquet room overlooking one of the property’s many spring-fed ponds is perfect for large celebrations or wedding receptions. There is an outdoor event option in the garden, a large outdoor deck surrounding the banquet room and several backdrops for stunning photos, too.

The Buhl Estate can be rented throughout the year. While spring and summer are peak rental times, the property is equally breathtaking with colorful leaves during the fall season and when it’s blanketed with a fresh layer of snow during winter.

Located within Addison Oaks County Park just north of Rochester, the property is well known for its rural atmosphere and natural beauty. Amenities include a bridal suite with separate bride and groom dressing rooms, a dance floor, outdoor lighting, piano, stage and podium for toasts.

The Buhl Estate has capacity for seated events up to 500 guests.

Parking

The Buhl Estate has parking for more than … vehicles with accessible parking spaces immediately adjacent to the facility.

Insurance Requirements

Insurance(s) will need to be provided for the following:

• If the reservation/event is for a wedding

• If there is expected to be more than 250 people in attendance at the event/facility

• If the reservation is booked by an organized entity/group and not an individual

• If there will be alcohol provided (not sold) at the event

• If there will be alcohol sold at the event (subject to approval by the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission)
