Oakland Park’s project will create more than 13,200 square feet of wetlands with native plants to beautify a community space and effectively reduce pollutants by absorbing stormwater runoff.

Project Goals

• Improve water quality by filtering stormwater runoff through bioretention cells
• Reduce pollutants from entering the Clinton River
• Use native landscape to beautify the area and aid in stormwater management
• Create a gathering space for the local community to enjoy
