In accord with guidance from the Michigan Supreme Court and input from attorneys who practice in Oakland County, the Circuit and Probate Courts will continue to use a mix of in-person and virtual proceedings in the management of their respective dockets.
Today the Oakland County Circuit and Probate Courts have agreed to adjourn all jury trials through Friday, February 25, 2022, due to surging Covid numbers throughout Oakland County.
The Michigan Supreme Court has announced the appointments of Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Jeffery S. Matis and Probate Court Judge Linda S. Hallmark as Chief Judges for the Circuit and Probate Courts respectively.
