Important Notice Regarding Ordering District Court Transcripts Regarding Cases Bound Over To Circuit Court

This notice is a reminder of the recent amendments to MCR 6.110(G) and MCR 8.119(H)(10). Please note that for a criminal case bound over to the circuit court post-July 2, 2024 that the district court record is immediately made non-public. The circuit court record contains the district court records transmitted to it under MCR 6.110(G). If a party/attorney to the case requires a transcript they may do so through the District Court Request below. If any other person requires a transcript, they must contact the Oakland County Clerk at courtexplorer@oakgov.com. The Clerk’s Office will process the request and forward it to the appropriate court reporter or official to prepare the transcript.
