Over the past year, 55 children in the foster care system established a legal relationship with their forever families through adoption proceedings in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court – Family Division.

Oakland County, MI (October 29, 2005) - The Sixth Judicial Circuit Court acknowledges the month of November as National Adoption Month.

Over the past year, 55 children in the foster care system established a legal relationship with their forever families through adoption proceedings in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court – Family Division. We honor and thank the families who have opened their hearts and homes to provide a stable, loving environment for children in need!  

For those looking to adopt, the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) www.mare.org is the central resource listing children in need of adoptive families.  Let’s take this month to recognize adoptive families and to thank everyone who helps these children find the permanence they deserve.
