Cristia Brockway is a catalyst for Farmington HillsÕ economic success.
As the director of economic development, Brockway collaborates with residents, business owners, developers, regional partners, and state agencies to ensure the cityÕs growth is inclusive, strategic, and sustainable. Such accomplishments include the revitalization of the Grand River Corridor, partnership with Tianjin Motor Dies Company that brought $7.5 million in capital investments and 25 highly skilled jobs and the Brownfield Development Grant Program to attract business with redevelopment opportunities.
She also leads the annual Bagels & Business event, which is a hub for small business owners and entrepreneurs to connect and grow. Last year the event hosted nearly 80 attendees.
Brockway earned her bachelorÕs degree in urban studies from Wayne State University.
