Sara Pitchford is building spaces for residents to connect with one another in meaningful, realistic ways. As a clinical mental health therapist at NatureÕs Playhouse, she supports pregnant and postpartum clients and their families while they navigate parenthood. Pitchford also partners with Birth Detroit to provide free therapy and crisis support for mothers facing monetary and social barriers. In addition, she founded the Sunday Morning Club in Hazel Park, a thriving grassroots event where residents can network with fellow neighbors, elected leaders and local businesses.
