Jody PaulanÕs professional goal is to meet the needs of the community using the latest technology. Currently, he is a project manager and senior business development analyst at NorthStar Clean Energy, leading the development of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in more than 25 counties throughout Michigan. Outside of his career, Paulan is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, delivering food to older and homebound adults, and an advisor with Youth Workforce Development & Skilled Trades Mentorship, supporting students interested in STEM fields and skilled trades. A Waterford resident, Paulan earned his associate degree in pre-engineering from Macomb Community College and dual bachelorÕs degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering from Wayne State University.
