Born in Mexico with a dream to carve out a successful life in the United States, Sairy Garcia is focused on helping small businesses succeed and growing as a consultant for the non-profit Oakland Thrive, in Pontiac.

Her fundamental values revolved around family, social connections and a genuine desire to help others. Garcia uses those values to provide resources and training, planning strategies and problem solving for small businesses in Oakland County.

She also serves as an ambassador of the Hispanic Community in Oakland County, collaborating with the Mexican Consulate, Casa Amiga, Latinos en Michigan, Centro Cultural Hispano and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to help foster and grow the support network for the Hispanic community.

A resident of Royal Oak, Garcia earned a bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Autonoma De Chihuahua in Mexico.
