38 Partner and GIS Practice Leader OHM Advisors Whether itÕs personally or professionally, Mike Cousins strives for excellence as a GIS mapping professional at OHM Advisors in Livonia and as a dedicated volunteer who works with students and philanthropic organizations. Cousins, a GIS Practice Leader, was recently named a partner at OHM Advisors, an architecture, engineering and planning firm. He has helped develop numerous custom GIS web mapping applications for residents to use within their communities. He is on the Frederick Douglass Academy advisory board in Detroit and helped develop a dual-enrollment program for the students at the school that has helped decrease drop-out rates and increase college applications. And he serves as an industrial mentor and leader in the Geospatial Technologies Talent Consortium. And for the past five years, Cousins has helped lead the Detroit Shriners ÒStuff the TruckÓ gift donation event to gather gifts for the patients at the Shriners Hospital for Children who are receiving treatment during the holidays.
