With a long history of success in the field of workforce development, Joe Bamberger is committed to connecting education and businesses to attract, develop and retain the next generation of workers.

He is the founding and managing partner at Emerge, a workforce development consulting firm in Royal Oak. He also is the President of the Michigan Career Educator and Employer Alliance.

Bamberger also has worked with organizations that focus on supporting entry-level employees, including Oakland Schools Education Foundation and the Capital Area Michigan Works T3 office. And he spearheaded the launch of the Athlete Connection, an initiative that connects collegiate athletes with employers.

He was awarded the 2023 Crain’s Detroit Business’ Excellence in Human Resources award for launching EmergeNET, a technology designed to bridge the gap between students, employers, and educators.

A resident of Bloomfield Hills, Bamberger earned a bachelor’s degree from the Colorado College in Colorado Springs and received a talent pipeline management certificate from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He also is a past president of the Detroit Country Day School Alumni Association.
