Senior Physical Therapist

Volunteering and community outreach have always been a part of Sarah Knipper’s life since she was a child. As a teen, Knipper was a volunteer coach at camps for young athletes, which sparked her love for giving back while being physically active. After earning a doctorate in physical therapy from Grand Valley State, Knipper returned to Oakland County to continue supporting the health of her community.

As a senior physical therapist at Beaumont Health Rehabilitation Services, she is creating an orthopedic physical therapy residency program to help prepare physical therapists to take the board exam while helping patients overcome physical obstacles and return to doing what they love. As a physical therapist, she also volunteers to help children get properly fitted for a bike during Beaumont Health Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network’s annual Bike Day.

Knipper is also an active alumna and mentor at Marian High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.    

She lives in Royal Oak.
