Associate Dean of the College of Architecture and Design and Associate Professor of Graphic Design

In 2022, Lawrence Technological University not only granted tenure to associate professor Lilian Crum but also promoted her to associate dean of the College of Architecture and Design.
As the associate dean, Crum is developing a five-year strategic plan and spearheading initiatives focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.
Outside of the college, Crum is a partner and creative director at Unsold Studio and offers branding services from cultural institutions to retail businesses. Her designs have won numerous awards, including two Gold Awards from Indigo Design for her work with Michigan Opera Theatre and Detroit-based Bea’s Squeeze. In 2019, Unsold Studio and Crum represented Detroit and the U.S. at Singapore Design Week in 2019.
Crum earned a bachelor’s degree in art and art history from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in fine arts - 2D design from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
She lives in Bloomfield Hills.
