Oakland County Michigan Works! Office in Waterford
Providing employment and training services to thousands of job seekers and employers, Jillian Geyman has dedicated her career to ensuring career success for individuals and businesses in Oakland County.
In her role as the director of the Michigan Works! office, Geyman has administrative and fiscal oversight of more than 30 federal and state job training programs and grants. She has implemented programs that follow students from schooling to graduation to employment and helped launch a program focused on servicing English language leaners integrate basic education courses with occupational skills and training.
Geyman is an active volunteer, coordinating Oakland County Michigan Works! Holiday Extravaganza program, which supports scholarships and helped revitalize a Detroit neighborhood through the Life Remodeled-6 Day Project.
She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University.
She lives in Fenton.
