Venus B. Phillips is Head of Public Markets for retirement assets at Fiat Chrysler in Auburn Hills where she leads strategy for the U.S. and Canadian pensionsÕ investments in equities and fixed income. Venus has thirteen years of financial industry experience including economic research, asset allocation and wealth planning. Prior to joining Fiat Chrysler, Venus was an Investment Manager at Morningstar, a Portfolio Analyst with the University of ChicagoÕs endowment, an Associate with NexGen Capital Partners, LLC, and an Analyst with JPMorgan Private Bank.
A Southeast Michigan native, Venus received a BBA in Finance from Howard University where she was a Laureate scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After starting her career on Wall Street, Venus returned to the Midwest to earn her MBA in Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she was a Richard and Amy Wallman Fellow. Currently, Venus is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder, and sits on the Investment Committee of the Hudson-Webber Foundation.
