Mike Losey is an Oakland County native and feels fortunate to have grown up in southeast Michigan. He counts among the most formative experiences that shaped his career path in the conservation field the ability to explore the woods and waters of Oakland County’s well-preserved system of parks and natural areas. As the natural resources manager for Springfield Township, he implements wildlife habitat management activities for the benefit of people and nature. He couldn’t be happier to serve residents and visitors of one of the areas that have retained the quintessential northern Oakland County character and is thankful to work alongside civic leaders who provide the enabling conditions to carry out his work. He is honored to be selected as one of the Elite 40 class of 2018.
