Chris Jackson was born and raised in Pontiac, growing up in a single parent household with mother Pamala Jackson. His participation football, basketball and track) provided valuable life experiences. He received a scholarship to attend Cranbrook Kingswood and graduated from West Bloomfield High School in 2007. He played football at Hope College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management in 2011. After graduation, he worked as a project manager and product line manager for one of the world’s largest manufacturing residential components companies. He was an entrepreneur in the Grand Rapids area working on numerous Smart Zone initiatives as well as founding/co-founding multiple startup companies. He serves as a board member for Main Street Pontiac (Downtown) and Young Entrepreneur Squad and is employed with Accent Pontiac as a community liaison and site coordinator where he helps mentor children in Pontiac.
