Managing Director Calderone Advisory Group, LLC Alex Calderone lives in Birmingham and is a two-time graduate of Michigan State UniversityÕs Eli Broad College of Business. He possesses five professional certifications, including the CPA/ABV, CFE, CTP and CGMA designations. Having spent the first decade of his career with some of the financial consulting industryÕs leading national firms, including KPMG and Conway MacKenzie, Inc., Alex felt compelled to follow his entrepreneurial instincts and found his own boutique firm, downtown Birmingham-based Calderone Advisory Group, LLC, in 2014. To-date, AlexÕs firm has helped dozens of middle market businesses survive and thrive, including Oakland CountyÕs own Pontiac General Hospital, which recently went through a highly successful turnaround that included Chapter 11 restructuring. Alex is particularly active in giving back to the Oakland County community. For the past 10 years he served as a reserve police officer with the Oakland County SheriffÕs Office and presently with the Birmingham Police Department. He is as a member of the Board of Regents of the Orchard Lake Schools. Alex was on the team responsible for overseeing the refinance of its existing indebtedness through the Oakland County Economic Development Corporation.
