Laura Casai began working with TMP Architecture as a college intern and progressed to become Director of Interior Design, the youngest department leader in the firm's 56-year history. Since 2006 she has provided pro bono interior design work for Oakland County schools including Novi Community Schools and Huron Valley Schools. Casai earned certificates in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design and the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She gave presentations to the Michigan Association of School Boards in Lansing, the Michigan Association of School Administrators and to the ASID chapter meeting on green interior design practices.

Since 2011, Casai has led a team of TMP employees in the CANstruction competition to benefit Gleaners Food Bank, a Southeast Michigan non-profit that fights hunger. She earned her bachelor's degree in interior design from Michigan State University and an MBA from Oakland University.
