Center for Success Pontiac

DJ is a Pontiac resident and founder and president of two inner city non-profit organizations. He has over 10 years' experience working in non-profits. DJ is passionate about his involvement in helping the next generation in Pontiac and Oakland County.

He founded The Center for Success Pontiac. The center has grown from five children in 2013 to 70 current enrollees. The center's mission is to empower individuals and families to live productive lives by providing homework help, tutoring and after school activities.

DJ started The Reverse Church in 2012, where he is lead pastor and provides weekly services in both English and Spanish. The church aims to turn the world around by reversing the cycles of poverty, addiction, depression and abuse, and to inspire positive change. The church provides podcasts on its website for those people unable to attend services.

DJ is pursuing a degree in education in management leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University.
