Walk This Way Kick-Off Event

Connect with your community through outdoor fitness
Join us to kick-off Walk This Way, a six-week 55+ walking series featuring themed walks focused on mindfulness, pacing, balance and strength. This energizing kick-off event will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at the boat launch in Pontiac Oaks Park.
The free kick-off event will feature interactive park activities, community resources and social opportunities. A light lunch will be provided.
Walk This Way is designed to help participants build healthy habits and enjoy time outdoors. Select sessions will also feature “Walk and Talk” guest experts sharing wellness insights, practical tips and community resources in a relaxed, conversational setting.
