All school building names, addresses, and telephone numbers are uploaded to the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR), automatically from the Educational Entity Master System (EEM). The Local Health Department has the capability of changing the name of a early learning center. Early learning centers that need a name update can email ochd-earlylearning@oakgov.com. Notify the State of Michigan Child Care Licensing System through the Child Care Hub Information Records Portal (CCHIRP) of the name change.
Email the Local Health Department at ochd-schools@oakgov.com and the Educational Entity Master System (EEM) at cepi@michigan.gov to notify of the grade level changes.
If a school or early learning MCIR site needs to be re-enabled, contact the Local Health Department through email with the previous MCIR site name and license number (for early learning centers).
Michigan licensed early learning centers and preschools are required to report Immunization Program (IP) compliance on enrolled children to their local health department.
Michigan schools are required to report Immunization Program (IP) compliance for students who are entering into Kindergarten, 7th grade or are enrolled into a new school district (grades 1-12) through the age 18 years to their local health department.
