When are Oakland County employees set to move to downtown Pontiac?
Published by The Detroit News
Pontiac — Oakland County is about a year and a half away from moving hundreds of its employees to downtown Pontiac, officials said Tuesday.
Granger Construction Vice President Ben Schneider announced at a Tuesday news conference that his crew is on track to have the old General Motors building at 31 E. Judson Street ready for roughly 700 county employees by fall 2027. The announcement came as construction crews started installing exterior facade panels on the building, which is expected to be fully enclosed this fall, Schneider said.
